Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I can... and have... but everybody knows what a jerk this guy is. That part of it is no surprise. But he's chairman of the board and the largest single shareholder.
He gets what he wants. There is no escape.

It's a year-round vacation wonderland! In the winter there's XC skiing, snowmobiling, Perchville (a celebration of ice fishing), etc. etc. etc. (and the boys raised in the south say "brr, send me to Fla")...LOL!
I'm just starting to get into winter stuff, despite the fact that I grew up in Vermont. I want to buy some snowshoes this winter. I borrowed some last year, but hopefully I can get my own this year and go often!

Well, there's one...if your resume is up to date...
I call that the "Nuclear Option", which I currently keep under tight security. The temptation to use it has recently become more attractive, but the job market recovery isn't as far underway in this area as I would like.
But one of these days...

Seems like I always miss you!
I'm about to embark on an adventure, and I'm tryin' to decide if I'm excited or just skeered.
And I should be getting to bed soon 'cause I gotta get up at five or so. But I'm going to start thinking of things I could forget as soon as my head hits the pillow...

I think that's for Ramius.... but from what I understand it would be pointless as the CEO is one of the buttmunch ensemble. Therefore, a waste of Ramius' valuable time. He has too much on his plate at work this year anyway - and really needs a vacation. Documentation is already a large part of his problems!!!!

I've already tried leaving the chicken feet in his desk drawers. What else should I try? :-)
The capper was an email I just got from my guy that's been working the problem today. Confirmed that it was, in fact, the OST file size issue all along and that he'd finally been able to get the Balrog to see it and acknowledge the issue. He'll be archiving and getting rid of mail as soon as he can.
I won't hold my breath for the apologies for unprofessional and discourteous messages.

Hiya!
Rosie, I have a cordial dislike for all things winterish. I've had quite enough, and given the opportunity, I'd be south of Mason-Dixon in an effin' heartbeat.
Funny...an ancestor of mine went to war in blue, but I'm happiest in the old confederacy...
