Independents are liberals who are too afraid to look like bad guys so they tell everybody that they are Independent.

Actually, the word "independent" means "Affiliated with or loyal to no one political party or organization."

There are MANY independents who are conservatives, and they belong here as well as registered Republicans like myself. This is a "conservative news forum", not a "Republican news forum".

Sorry, when I said Independent, I should of said moderate. You knew what I meant.

Maybe Free Republic should be changed from "Conservative News Forum," to "Politically Correct Conservative News Forum."
