Oh no, that's too bad.
Our weather is pretty dry, both winter and summer. We have a few days of temps below freezing during January and February. Then during July and August, we have pretty warm temps. Most of the time it is high 90s and low 100s but we always get a few days of 105 or better.
Are you anywhere near Chicago? That's the only place in IL that I know. :)
: )
I haven't taken KJ off of my ping list. If she asks again, I will but I'm not sure if she was serious. Sometimes she seems to enjoy coming by for a visit.
Good to see you this evening, Mayor.
Good to see you too this evening Amy.
LOL
We knew that since you were from out of town, the heat would be bothering you more that it would Chadsey.
That was a lot of ice and water they used on ya! LOL
It's been a mite warm in my neck of the woods!
Can't get a rare steak in the cafe anymore.
The cows are well done when they hit the slaughter house.
COWBOY!
When's the tail gate party planned for this year?
Right now, I'm on the other side of the state (near Iowa). But I'll be moving southward in a little over a month. So, it will be about 5-10 degrees warmer.
And...at the risk of sounding a little dense...are you in CA, Amy? hehehe
Dio was running!
Now that Jim is home, I need to talk to him. I would like to plan it for August or September. I'm not sure when he is planning to leave on his tour of the northwest.
It was nice during September last year. No need for water sports.
When you find that youngsters are monopolizing the computers, you have to be a little assertive. The kids will readily assume that everyone is staring in awe of their internet mastery, rather than patiently waiting their turn.
Simply tell them that you are waiting your turn, and that you will take no more time than is your share. This should be sufficient. If not, remind them, and if necessary the management, about the posted rules.
My Monday was wonderful, as is almost every day that I open my eyes. I will have to honestly admit that this is one that should count toward the one million that I have requested. (Do not be concerned -- sufficient remain...)
I wrote a poem about another dang stupid rainbow, (posted elsewhere). Eventually, you may want to re-post it, perhaps with a graphic from Mama Bear or Billie. I have also been looking at some graphics you sent me, on which I have not acted. I shall deal with them shortly.
Life is good. (But take your vitamins, anyway.)
Yep .... I'm in Fresno. Middle of the state, about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Also between the two mountain ranges.
I'm in the conservative part of the state. :)
Billie has been pretty busy on a remodeling project. When MamaBear gets home, I will ask her to make me a couple of Rainbow Graphics.
I may ask Billie for a couple of new ones also, she probably needs a break. :)
Yeah, Californians are dense, hahaha
But I get the best of both worlds. If we win that game, we get to play for the league championship. If we lose that game, I can let everyone think they would have won if I were around. LOL!
