I've heard of Firefly, but have never watched a single episode.

I did hear it was very good though.

I think our hurricane plan back in NC was to shut down and cover all the equipment with plastic and batten down the hatches.

I wish you were still here too! You would love this drive I'm about to take today. :-) When I lived here - this was my favorite place to see. :-)

Guys, if you think you've got problems, check this out.

FWIW, "Herculiner and the Hootus" would be a great name for a band...

See you later.... I don't have a good feel for how long that will be, because I usually do White Pass in tourist mode, stopping at looking at everything, and letting the dog play in the water of the reservoir! - somewhere between three and six hours! ;~D

"I know Rosie weighs more than she looks, 'cuz she's eating nothing but rocks."

ecurbh just told me that my post about the rocks made no sense to anyone but me. ;~D

See... years ago, the neighbors at the beach house had a dog, big labrador, that suddenly started looking skinny. Couldn't keep food down. Finally they decided it was critical and they took him to the vet. His ribs were all showing and his hips were sticking out, but when they weighed him, he weighed more than he ever had before.

Well, the dog was eating rocks. He started out just liking to eat the barnacles off rocks, and just got carried away. The dog had 30-40 pounds of rocks in him. Completely full of them and couldn't pass a thing. Heavy, but starving to death. See... weight doesn't tell you everything! :~D

Not really, no.

I couldn't get one that I really liked. Some of them are ok...but just not what I wanted.

That kind of shot is hard for me too. I am better at portraits of people and critters than I am scenery. ecurbh is the scenery guy.

Herculiner is thinned by Xylol(Xylene), which is between Acetone and MEK in strength. I have both Xylol and MEK. I am not particularly interested in washing in either of those substances, er, ah, well, there, if you know what I mean....

NOT something I want to be trying to remove from my person in any way shape or for.
And using xylol or acetone to try and get it off is NOT a fun OR sound idea.
