You family would be merciless how? Have they noticed you're getting thinner? or are they all too much like 'guys' for even that?

You should hear the latest here at work. They are starting a Hurricane Task Force and want each employee to be on a "team" that will deal with pre and post hurricane issues.
As if I even ~plan~ on sticking around if a hurricane is coming, let alone worry about what will happen to payroll, etc. Oh puh-lease!
Ummmm.... Yeah.... I'm gonna need you to come in during the hurricane.... so if you'd be here about 9:00, that'd be great...
Tell 'em you'll bring the plastic and the duct tape. :)
If my family has noticed I'm thinner, they haven't said anything. Considering they're pretty much all guys, maybe that's why. ;-) I've lost almost twenty five pounds at this point. I THINK it's noticeable.
But maybe 'cause they ARE guys, they almost have the attitude that dieting and exercise is a sign of weakness...that you should be able to maintain without having to work at it. Not that anyone would say something in as many words...but you may kinda know the feeling I mean.
I actually volunteered to be part of an emergency response communications team. I was told my job was too important.
I just stared at 'em.
I am sure 10 pounds off was noticeable on you! You weren't that pudgy in the first place! 10 pounds would be noticeable on me! - In fact, I think I noticed the 10 pounds I gained this week with all this company and eating all the time!
Your brothers are all younger than you right? They may be smart people in some other way, but half the time you describe them, I'd like to box their ears!
One of these days I'll get up the nerve to confess what weight I was at Entmoot. It's a lot higher than anyone would think...probably twenty pounds more than you'd guess. *sigh* And I'm not aiming for anything unrealistic for a goal. I've always been at the high end or "normal" for my height, and I don't see that changing. I have no desire to be movie star thin. Just want to be healthy. I admit I wouldn't mind a compliment once in awhile, though!
Yeah, all my brothers are younger. One of them is better than others at being understanding. He's the youngest, which is kind of ironic. Only 15 going on 16, and he's wiser than the rest of 'em put together a lot of times!

You don't have to tell us your weight.... we can see size. No matter what weight you are... you are definately dieting before it was a seriously hard mission, which is good. If you asked me, I'd say "I know Rosie weighs more than she looks, 'cuz she's eating nothing but rocks."
Speaking of fitness plans.... I am gonna go mow the pasture weeds, see if I can beat the rain.

Just checkin' in real fast before I get ready to leave. Nancy is going to work very shortly so as soon as I shower it's gonna be time to hit the road. I am gonna go ahead and go the White Pass route because it is just such a pretty drive, so I will stop by in however many hours it takes me to get there. Don't know how long that will take.... but, you'll know better, I'll be leaving Benton City about 10.... calculate from there and you'll see me pulling in!

There is absolutely no explanation for this company's policies and procedures. It's a sad, sad thing to see, but an even worse thing to have to actually ~deal~ with!!
