Discovered that I reacted to certain fabric softeners due to my undies being fabric softenered.
That was massively uncomfortable for the next couple months as I tried to do my own laundry and not use the softener AND heal up from the reaction to the stuff in the first place.
Ever get a new watch and have your wrist bubble and peel due to the plastic watchband?

Plastic watchbands are the only other thing I react to like that.
Certain perfumeson specific people [dunno why], pollens, and specific stinging insects I react to.
So far no known medication allergies.
I'd hate to discover one though.

You're reaction to the fabric softener sounds almost identical to mine.

I don't know about plastic watchbands......I have only had leather or metal.

Stetson and Lady Stetson colognes set me to itching like crazy.....even in a crowded bar I can tell if someone is wearing it and have to leave. And I break out in HUGE welts if I come in physical contact with it. Stinging and biting insects all set me off...........none of these allergies did I discover I had until I was over 20.
