On the subject of pets: I've decided that I want a dog.
I wanted a little Yorkie, but my backyard is prime hunting ground for hawks and vultures. A dog that small could get scooped up and carried away!

So I think I'll get a Scottie like Dubya's Barney, and I'm going to name it Dutchie in honor of "Dutch" Reagan. A Scottie named Dutchie!! LOL!

Loved all of your pictures on yesterday's thread, especially the squirrel in the squirrel-proof bird feeder (I sent that to Dad and my aunt), and the outfielder slamming into the ivy - ouch! There are nails in that ivy, not to mention that things have been known to disappear into those vines!

The nails in the brick wall are what the ivy vines climb on. That's why you never see a Cub veteran like Sammy Sosa go anywhere near the outfield fall when there is a fly ball.
