He was probably referring to a common man type scenario; you gotta remember after a week the commentators (they are not reporters) are stretching for new phrases

What a dumbass. Archie Bunker is Norman Lear's brainchild. Lear tried to mock Conservatives with his version of Bunker but it backfired on his ass.
