We are spending a lot of money on the military right now. It seems passing odd that we would put seven carriers to sea just to see if we can do it. I'm with you on this one. The "impact" is probably a cover story.
I also think Tenet resigning means the CIA could not manage to topple the ayatollahs in Iran, and we will go to war to prevent them having the bomb - or more than a handful.
Bush is doing PR work with the skeptics in France. Not sure how much good that will do or if even there will be an escaltaion to Iran, Syria, and Lebanon.
Even Saudi Arabia is not exempt.
