No, I don't think that makes you a bad son at all. Actually, from the experiences with Grama at the hospital, I noticed that *everyone* thought they had to visit the first day or two - and after a couple of days - when she finally felt better enough for company everyone would think they'd visited so no need to come back. This has since made me think that spacing out visits from other people could be more welcome.
At this point, I'm thinking I will go. I've made the plans, arranged to be off work, etc. I could use the drive time to clear my head.
It gets tricksey. My mom is the classic worrier type. I know you've never seen any of that trait in me. ;-)
But it make it the difficult choice between "if the boys come, they must think I'm really sick" and "why didn't the boys come, I'm really sick"...
Sigh...raising parents is darn near as difficult as raising kids.
But, if I'm leaving here at 5-ish, I gotta get some sleep. If I've not posted by 7 or 8 in the a.m, I'm on the road and I'll check in when I can.
