Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Boonies: Boone's Farm wine.... They make stuff like Blue wine... (ecurbh didn't get any blue this time, just a couple different pink colors and one green one)
It's "good".

If you can get the ice to float in it.

There's a black Baptist church in San Antonio that's built to sway, just a little, when enough people filled with the Holy Ghost start to dance in the aisles. Let's go! I'll let ya know when I'm in town.
Actually, you know Myranda's gonna be in ministry training in San Antonio probably in a couple of months. I haven't visited the church where she's gonna be. I hope they got good praise goin' up. If they don't.... Myranda won't be too happy. If they do --- you'll have to visit there with me! :-)

Yeah, but you're the main reason I'd be going there. Besides, we'd have to make a road trip anyway, so why not!?

Works for me. :-)
San Antonio is about 6 hours away. If you fly to Dallas I could pick you up and we could make it there in - I think maybe 4 hours... maybe less...
How long from Dallas to S.A. Rose?
Of course, we gotta stop in Austin to moot with Bear and Rose first. :-)

I like your plan!
Let's pray I get some increased cash flow so I can do a Texas Moot. Remember, I've got to be ready for Entmoot 2005 first and foremost!

Not 'zactly.
I'm in another fight with that rat b@$t@rd even now. He's tryin' ta' git me fired again for about the forty-second time. It's the story of my life.
Now I'm on the hook for connections via satellite from Afghanistan that are too fargin' slow to let certain secure web sites work properly.
That there is precisely nothing that can be done about this is not part of his ever-so-perfect problem-solving attitude. That we have an effective work-around for the latency issue is also unimportant. He's Chairman of the frickin' board. So his opinion, nomatter how useless, still somehow matters.
I'd keep typing but would probably just get myself in trouble.
