Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hi 2J! Ready for the trip? ;-)
I never use rollers since I'm always struggling to get the curl out of my hair in the first place!

Well, ecurbh's folks are prolly looking down on us right now, flying overhead. They land in Seattle in about 20 minutes!
Today ecurbh and I washed two horses and a dog, brushed the cat, washed and vacuumed both cars, finished cleaning up inside, and mowed the lawn.
We are ~almost~ ready to get married!

I was thinking I might could roll them up that morning of your wedding and undo them right before. My hair is gonna be clipped back anyways. it doesn't really matter.
I never have any trouble rolling my hair up on a curling iron. But it always seems to get stuck there...won't unroll...start smellin' burning hair.
That's why I flyladyed it.

Yeah - sounds like that's for the best ;~D
I've always had too much hair for cold rollers.... take two days to dry rolled up like that.
You guys will get to see me curl it all for the weddin' with the iron (note to self, don't ask 2J to help with the back ;~D) - take me about an hour and a half to do it! ;~D

Yup. Sad as it may seem, no matter what kind of fancy-schmancy cereals are out there - I have to have Frosted Flakes. :-)
Once in a while I'll have Cocoa Puffs or Honey Nut Cheerios, but Tony the Tiger is my buddy! *laughing*

I remembered that you mentioned in one of your posts that "3 Fat Guys Pizza" was your favorite place to eat. Joy and I went there a couple of days ago and they do have good food.
Anyway, I mentioned to the cashier that you said that and told her you were in Iraq, so the owner gave me a coupon to give to you for a FREE pizza!
Maybe I ought to try that every time we go out to eat and you might load up on freebies.
