"Here you go... decorative and functional..."
ROFL! Great pic :)
Good, thanks! Have a hankering for pancakes for some reason :) How are you?
I think I'll have flaxseed pancakes for breakfast tomorrow. Been having those once a week or so.
I still need to try the almond pancakes, though! And the new recipe for pecan ones, too, eventually.
But the flax ones are just soooo easy. I've been using a recipe that's just two eggs, three tablespoons of ground flaxseed, and a tsp each of vanilla and baking powder. I usually add a tiny bit of water, too, especially since I don't like majorly fluffy pancakes. And lately I add blueberries.
They're quick and easy and good for ya!
Oh, that is funny!
tHERE'S AN IDEA!
Thanks! What's distinctive about PCA vs. the other group mentioned/other Presbyterian groups? (if I may ask without risking starting a flame war, LOL!--feel free to answer privately if it's more appropos.)
But...but... I don't have the sheet music!
sAY, THERE'S A PLAN.
I'm fine as frog's hair, split 4 ways!
I would particularly enjoy doing that. None of my old buddies live there anymore, but I could show PE the ole house and we could have a burger at Goldie's.
:-)
You don't quite reach "terrible" status until you buy the frozen ones for the microwave.
I'm glad you like them, but you really need to try the almond flour ones...
They usually don't make it to the table...I just eat 'em while standing up, frying up the next one.
Gosh, they are good!!!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you ALL for your great support of America's military, and for the ways you show it.
Please do me a favor, and pass along my sincerest thanks to all involved and concerned. The gesture is indeed a heartwarming one, and the knife is already being put to work.
Have a great day, ALL!
But "from scratch" are pretty easy. I don't use a recipe - Mom just taught us the proportions she used, and we double or triple that as needed. I have it written down somewhere, but if I remember right it's just one egg and one cup of flour and one cup of milk, plus a scant teaspoon of baking powder. And you can add one tablespoon of oil, too, which I think makes 'em a little crisper.
*shudder*
Glad you got the knife. Thank you for your service to our Country.
ROFL
Really? This reminds me... elf-boy has a Christmas movie in which a dalmation is accidentally dyed blue, then pink, then green, etc.
PCA - fairly conservative denomination. The Presbyterians you mostly hear about are PCUSA, they're liberal. There's the EPC, which I don't know much about. Fairly conservative but I think in theory they ordain women. There's OPC - Orthodox Presbyterians - which are a bit stricter than PCA and the closest thing we have to a sister denomination. And there's the RPC - Reformed Presbyterians - who are a little looser, I think, but still ok.
Oh, and the Cumberland Presbyterians are, I believe, Presbyterian in government only.
