Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Will I have enough beer??
Well... There should be plenty, without even dipping into the five or six "emergency reserve" cases. That should give us time to get to the store if needs be. :-)

So, if you make sure you have enough beer does that mean there will be a drop or two of water for me? LOL

No, not yet... had a bit of wireless trouble there for a bit.
SHOUTINGMAN is still talking to some english dude that he came in with. Volume is still quite low, so he apparently is still sober.
Being the uber-liberal that he is... perhaps I should sidle up there and ask him what he thought of the events of last week. :-) Nah... I'll wait a couple a few beers and do it later. :-)
hehehee...

Be sure and point out to him that there wasn't near enough media coverage of the whole thing last week. And that it should probably have continued with much follow-up this week!
I didn't know SHOUTINGMAN was quiet when he was sober! I thought he was deaf and just shouted all the time! :-)
Or maybe somewhere along the line someone told him *you* were deaf! :-D

Good evening!
Whew...busy evening. I got a bunch of assorted meats and chicken in beeeeg packages and got those repackaged and in the freezer, weeded, mowed the lawn, weedwhacked, planted some more seeds, watered everything that needed watered, made dinner, fixed lunch for tomorrow, walked on the treadmill at an incline for 30 minutes, and changed the catbox. I didn't do any fly-ladying, but I think I did pretty good.
So...now I'm entitled to a nice glass of wine, a good Freep, and then some reading time!

No, she's Catholic. That's why I asked you. Hm...there are some feastdays that are on a different schedule in other places, but Corpus Christi isn't one of 'em. So...I dunno!
You must be off on your practice now. Hope that goes well and your headache isn't bothering you!
