ecurbh's family is staying here.... Gig Harbor Motor Inn. But - for $10 more per night, you could be at the The Inn At Gig Harbor and be staying in class.
Cheap though, is the Westwynd Motel It's a few miles out of town.... We went there, the rooms are tired, but cheap. It looks like a Travelodge.
Exactly which nights are you staying? If you are able to stay after, I'd have you pack up and stay down here where we'll be afterwards, and hotels are significantly cheaper here in Olympia/Tumwater.
I take it most of the action will be taking place in Gig Harbor, over the entire weekend? I wasn't sure what y'all's plans were for Sunday and Monday...
Yup, that ~really~ got me too. Spent a lot of this day in tears.
Listening to "Into the West" now.... very cathartic. Our dear Ronnie has gone into the west.
Oh DEFINITELY no dry eyes here!!!! Especially watching poor Nancy break down at the coffin. I was wishing so hard all the cameras would cut off so she could have her final farewell unmonitored.
God bless her soul!
the end of an era with his passing...I am so sad right now.
At least Sunday and Sunday night we'll be back down here. You could stay here in Tumwater with a couple choices, a Super 8, A Best Western and a Comfort Inn within a couple miles I am gonna guess they are in the $60-$75 range. Won't need to make reservations even, they'll always have availability and you can be flexible that way. Monday we could play if there is something you want to see here, or we could hang around, go back to the beach house, whatever!
Until the the wedding, the action is in Gig Harbor or Tacoma, Scott is in the Tacoma/Fircrest University Place area.
A group of horse riders hold their hands over their hearts along the motorcade route as the hearse carrying the American flag draped mahogany casket of former United States president Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) heads to the burial services for Reagan at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, June 11, 2004.
And they are saluting. ~sniff~ Here I go again.
Guess everyone else has gone to bed, and I should head there too.
Good night, thread!
Talk to you tomorrow.... maybe in the next day or two we should talk on the phone about the options, easier than back and forth and mull over choices than here!
Good night!
Hope it helped. There are several good models out there.
me too
Morning all. Am running household errands this morning, hope to work in the garden this afternoon. We took a break from the services yesterday, which were completely overwhelming, to get out of the house. We did dinner and a movie- will file my review of Riddick later. It was decent, we'll probably buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Good morning all; did a coffee and donut run this a.m.; donuts are something special as we rarely get them.
Sipping and freeping now, enough rain to make gardening a bit challenging today but all is not lost, I have another snakeskin to put on a bow today. Gypsy is taking her post breakfast pre walk nap, she has quite a routine, she has trained us well. :-)
Pink astible and yarrow are blooming, the rain beat down a few asiatic lilies but a bit of staking will fix that. Another canna broke through yesterday. Will be interesting which colors and sizes made it this year.
Gypsy is stirring so it's time for our constituionals.
