I'll look for those short story collections. This book I have also mentions one called "Four for Tomorrow" which it says was retitled "A Rose for Ecclesiastes". Another book I have recommends one of his called "Dream Master". How are either of those?
I think I saw you over there--thought you'd recognize me but I guess our Lurker Cloaks work well, heh-heh :) Anti-UN comment bump! :)
Yes, the Lurker Cloaks work well.
*chuckle*
Thanks!
You're welcome!. . .Hey, it does work!
Hey howdy ho there evellybody!!! [sip]
Watching the proceedings again now. [snif]
LOL!
That was such a horrible movie, and the screen symbol they used for the virus leaving the building reminded me of one of the 60's snot splot mmusic video effects.
That movie should have had the MST3K treatment, but it somehow slipped past them.
;-)
"I will now cut the corpses wrist with.. a BUTTER KNIFE! Oh my, look at the dust!"
Good evening! Didn't realize they were going to replay them again--I should've taped it.
Parents are out. Both sisters and oldest brother and I are having an anime-fest. We're seeing how much Legend of Kyoto we can watch... brother is slightly confused, having seen only three episodes of Kenshin before...
Not taped... watching the procession for the internment ceremony back in CA tonight.
So that's what you do when your parents are out! :) You're like the Cat in the Hat :)
Yes, I can see how jumping in at Legend of Kyoto would be confusing after only three episodes! Hopefully it's got enough cool action your brother will stil like it, though. What other anime have they watched already?
Did you catch the eulogies earlier? That was a real tearjerker.
I did... I stayed and watched it and went late to work this morning. I thought it was just beautifully done. All of it.
Well, youngest sister has watched almost everything I have. Other sister has seen a lot of Ranma, most of Season 1 Kenshin, and some Fruits Basket.
It was beautifully done. I hope they make a memorial tape or something later.
Is this your brother's first time watching anime, then? BTW you're a cool older sister--not too many older sisters give their brothers anime to watch! :)
got everythin' on muh tuh-do list done tuhday... and then, fer good measure, I tripped and smashed my bad knee on a rock...
I'll be spendin' this evenin' self-medicatin'...
corin; good news on Jr... does this mean I won't be havin' any extra slave-labor out here on theridge?...
Ouch. Recommend three car-bombs, and smack your other knee against a door jamb. That way the first one won't seem like it hurts so much. :-)
The most memorable part I think for me will be Patty's story about the goldfish funeral.
