New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
What's up with it? Give a call?
Well, they looked pointed at the end to me... which makes 'em kinda ovate but with a point which would put 'em in the lance shape for classification. Or maybe elliptical but I think they're too pointy for elliptical.
P.S. What I can't tell is if they're palmates with 3 leaves or 5 or 6. Can't tell that from the photo.
Of course, that information does me not much good unless I find the big book.
Hi there. Nice ta see ya. Trying to classify Corin's plant for him.
I started hunting around on the web for some software that might be able to connect to it... and ran across a review of the same model. Seems that particular cam is not compatible with any other webcam software but its own.
I've packed it back up. Going to return it tomorrow and head to Fry's. They should have better selection.
This recipe is for you! babygirl just woke up starving, had half a meal, and fell back asleep. I am gonna have to wake her up to eat some more. We can't be skipping meals!!
Other than a bit of heat rash, she is doing very well.
the last photo on this site was taken on Memorial Day.

Rats, well, sorry bout that.... careful about spendin' too much money, you know in a pinch the li'l old wired one would work!
Let me ask ya this...
If I grab holt of one of these geoducks, can somebody else do the diggin'? Or Vice versa?
Did Lil' Freeper ever get her noodlin' question answered?
Hubby says that his mom has some of that. It's somethingorother bells. If he remembers, I'll let you know.
Nope... ;~D Not gonna do it! But every year a couple tourists try!
Also, we can't see the stem. I found one plant - I dunno which book now even - that only had a verbal description with no picture - the description fit these flowers and leaves, there were several species but it said all had stems that are coarse and hairy. LOL - I do not even have a clue at this point what that was because I decided what little I could see of the stem was not coarse and hairy.
We got our HomeSat set up today...it gets better reception than our regular "rabbit ear" antennas!
Steve mounted it on a pole back behind the garage. Ran the cable through the attic and down the wall behind the tv.
It's huge...not a little dish like the Dish Network type...
I've seen a lot of those pics on the foxhole. What a cutie!
Are they really impossible? I'd love to haul one up to the beach house and show it to your dad! LOL
"Boil this up for me, would ya Mr. HOTD?"
Impossible? Maybe not. Really really hard work to do, yes!
No I haven't found out more about the package Samwise. I am having to wait for Jill to call me back. She and Tom are in Virginia Beach where he is working for about 3 weeks. I forgot to get the number in their room the other day when I called.
This was a comedy of errors. Jill seldom uses her cell phone. I reached her on it though and as usual we talked till her battery went down. It was a good while before she called me back - she had forgotten to bring her charger so she got a calling card to call me back. She was about to give me the number to call them at the base hotel but we were laughing and cutting up and forgot all about that! So, now, I can't reach her!
Still waiting for her to call back.
Now it's a quest.
but yeah... if it looks like nothing will work right, I'll just back up to the plan of moving the 'puter out on the deck and using the wired one.
Spam, glorious spam. . .
How about "Top Secret". That'll work. :-)
