American Idol really is a fraud. Macy Grey wannabe Fantasia was the hand chosen winner from the start. Your conspiracy theory isn't too far off, I heard a radio interview weeks ago that stated the phone calls were only a percentage of the performer's overall score. It seems the shows producers get to vote/score on who they want to win. The interview didn't explain how the two were tallied together, but it seem pretty fishy!

American Idol is a racist fraud to boot. Rueben won because they knew Clay could make it without being the American Idol, Rueben couldn't. Rueben's personality is like that of a dead carp compared to Clay's. I believe Clay leads all the current Idols in sales up to this point. Fantasia was selected for the same reason, she has poor skills at English and portraying herself in public, much like Rueben also did. Clay was a natural master, just like Diana, at presenting themselves.

I wouldn't worry about Diana losing, she'll be a star, although I would like to see her finish high school normally if possible before she goes into her career. I would really hate to see her miss all of her childhood. Fantasia on the other hand was a drop out due to the out of wedlock child, that should have exempted her from being an American Idol. Fantasia just makes for a horrible example, especially for fellow black women who have no chance of making it like she did. American Idol should be as much about personal character as talent and personality.

Fantasia's voice was irritating to my ears, I would never buy music of hers. Diana was better, but I really wasn't that excited by any of the singers this year for some reason. I do believe the judges have a big part of the judging over the phone poll. I believe that when Simon says this is the end, it's the end, otherwise Jasmine might have been in the final two. Jasmine really couldn't sing, but the Hawaii Island folks loved her.
