By the way Rosie, when that mint even shows the slightest tendancy of getting out of the place you want it, take a shovel to it generously! Dig deep and get it up because it does send out long, deep, underground shoots. Don't think you're gonna kill it if you dig it out to a very small spot!

Right now it lives in a spot away from everything else, so I'm OK with it spreading within that spot. But I'll keep that in mind! Crazy plant...

I told my little sister I'll have to give her some. She's trying to grow a little something in the jungle they call the front yard, but competition is tough...

I think the mint could beat back all competitors.

I've got all my herbs in pots on the deck, 'cept for the Texas doublemint and lemon balm I planted last year, oh and I set out the catmint.

But I'm either gonna have to transplant them into bigger pots or set them out. I'm just running out of sunny spots.
