Friend had one... mostly litter trainable, but not ~always~.
I would be more nervous about your rabbit chewing than a cat clawing... they gnaw to wear their teeth down, and my friend's ate the door frames.
Cats I have had clawed uphulstery or carpet if anything, but you can train them not to, and they'll choose trees if they can get out. Mine is indoor outdoor, no litter box. If you don't live on a bad road, you can get away with that. If spayed/neutered, they don't often wander much.
Okay thanks!!! I miss having a kitty around. they are so fun! My dog, Gizmo is a wonderful companion, but I cant help but think he wouldnt mind having another animal around to keep him company.
When I was growing up we kept a pair of rabbits in a big cage in the backyard. It seemed to work out well as long as they were outdoors. But when we brought them in the house, it took all of 15 minutes for them to eat a curtain and a TV cord. . .
And speaking of cats, the neighbor's cat seems to have been eating rabbits in the backyard--well, it's either a cat or a lynx or something, not sure which. I saw it once from a distance but didn't get a close look--some type of feline critter.
