Its funny you should call me that! I guess its cause I am on the Freeper listing... :D but I once got into a Yahoo group that called themselves prayer warriors, and at the time I was not anywhere near to finding a church home or going deeper into a spiritual life. I was in something of a limbo...but I got into an argument with the leader of that group who insisted that I stay with them, despite the fact that I wanted to leave the group because some of the political sneers of the others were sticking in my craw, and I didnt see any reason to continue being there. It baffled me that she was so insistent.
Anyway, I will pray harder. I have become VERY lax. Just know that our priest is also very supportive of our troups and they are included in the dedications every Sunday.
When reading your posts it is obvious that you are a pray-er for our troops. Your heartfelt prayers for them and our leadership come shining through. Your prayer life I think doesn't always match up with whether you have a church home currently or not. And another's opinion of whether you should be in or out of their group has nothing to do with your personal relationship with the Lord.
Many times in my Christian life I have found that other Christians were the first to place restrictions or judgements on where I am or should be in my spiritual walk. I have found that there are a handful of people I should listen to and a vast majority who's comments need to be flushed down my toilet with what else goes there. I think it's sad and synical that I have developed this view of fellow Christians but it is from my personal experiences. *sigh*
