I still have one other option, I THINK...dunno enough to be sure. One of the guys I work with - the senior technician (I'm the assistant) may be leaving to go to grad school. If he does, I might be able to apply for his job and move up one slot. Wouldn't be automatic, I don't think...and I don't know if I'd be accepted. But it's one possibility.

I seriesly love my home here, and the more I think about leaving, the more I realize that. But I have to be able to make a living, or it doesn't matter HOW much I like it...it still won't work.

Hmmmm... maybe we need to pray that that guy goes to grad school! And we know who we're praying for to take his job.

I am really not all that excited about moving "home." I don't want to live there now a terribly lot either. But, the house there is paid for. I would like to go to San Antonio or Tucson. Maybe Colorado Springs. I have friends or friendly family in those places. Of course, I only look in those places sporadically. And in each of those cities there are people I love who would let me stay there till I got on my feet. :-)
