Hey all!
OT and I went to Arnies last night to watch the Irish Session that they have there. It was really fun...when we first walked in, we were both delighted to see that there was a pennywhistle player! I kept looking at the fellow, thinking he looked familiar...I even said "I think I know this guy!" to OT. Finally I asked a lady at the bar who the guy was because she seemed to know him. Indeed, it was the guy I knew and she was his wife! Well, the party really began then, and I enjoyed the music all the more.
OT had a Guinness beer and it was a bit more than she could handle, I think! HA HA HA!!! She got reallllll quiet and peaceful-looking...
The group of players took a break and my aquaintence came over to us and asked "Where are your whistles???" OT hadn't brought hers, but I had...so I dashed out to the car and got mine. The guy let me play a bit on his silver plated Copeland (my dream whistle)...it was sweet, but had a hole on the bottom which I couldn't get used to covering. I went out and got my Mack Hoover whistle and played a bit for them (during the break) and the entire BAR emptied out. Well, just about and I began to wonder if perhaps Steve really has good reason to hate my whistle playing!! ROFLOL!!!
Then the guy played my Hoover whistle during one of his tunes...I was pleased with that because it sounded great to me! Here is my friend, Jay...playing my Mack Hoover D Whistle...

Good Memorial morning ya'll!Thanks to all of you on this thread who are vets! And thanks to the rest of you who, with me, support all our vets in prayer.
I am thankful to be able to memorialize those who have given all for my freedom as I know all of you are.
And I just wanted to start the day by saying so!
