Indeed!
I just got in and cleaned up from working in the garden. It's growing so nicely, I must get some pics . The first of my dahlias is blooming, the peas and pole beans are just jumping up the trellis. I also got my red tomato mulch film-stuff down. The color's wavelength is supposed to boost the yield. We shall see.
I also cleared out the first batch of radishes and planted the second round. I planted a particular variety of string bean for the third time. The dratted things have about a 30% germination rate. They're called "French Filet Beans". French. It figures. Anyhoo, I don't think I'll plant them next year.
It's almost chilly this morning. It's not really all that cool but the humidity is low and that makes the difference.
We've got lots of chores and diy projects planned for the weekend. One is installing a ceiling fan. I found a beautiful one at the Depot and brought it home. In a search to find a nicer picture of it on the internet, I discovered that the brand, Hampton Bay, is the most complained about on the web (poor quality, poor customer service, impossible to find replacement parts...). Eeek. I haven't opened the box, so it's tempting to take it back and look for another fan.
And sometime today, Big'ol is taking me to a dinner and a movie, or maybe a movie and a dinner. We'll probably catch Van Helsing.
Hope everyone's day is sunny and productive!
Sounds like you've been busy; we've had Casablanca fans for years, newest is probably 10 years old. They also run at a very slow speed, quite pleasant. Gardening seems to be another hobbit trait. :-)
One quick trip for a new bottle of Titebond II.
