Cool observation. Do you happen to know if Jackson took the latter from Tolkien's text? I don't remember offhand.

The quote "The Battle of Helm's Deep is over. The battle for Middle-Earth is about to begin." Doesn't appear to be exact Tolkien... neither of the phrases comes up in a word search. PJ & Co appear to have taken it from General Weygand...
