Awwww....what a cutie pie! Glad they've been allowed to keep her - seems like there was a case awhile back where they wouldn't let them keep dogs.

I bet it depends on the temperament of the local guy in charge. There was a case I read where there was a hard fight to bring a dog home that a group had bonded with. But I think folk back here raised money (and probably pressure) to do it.
