Actually, I forgot, but Jill and Myranda were tickled because they found *great* Mexican food in the town where they lived in Germany. Seems this Mexican couple from San Antonio decided they liked Germany better than San Antone and moved there to open a restaurant.

Hm...I'm wondering if they WERE near where I was, then. 'Cause we used to go to a place that fit that description alll the time. They had both Mexican food and stuff like chicken fried steak - in HUGH portions. And the whole place was decorated with Texas stuff...license plates and signs and such.

Mornin'! That place was in Weisbaden Rosie. That's not where you were is it?

Interesting thing that a lot of people don't know. San Antonio is known for it's Mexican flavor, but it is right on the edge of the German part of Texas too. Many Germans there and lots of German things, especially in the north part of town. So, it is a place where those 2 cultures merge.

Texas really has a lot of different cultural areas. My mom and dad live in the Czech part of Texas. Grama was in the Norwegian part of Texas.
