Well... yes... I would expect you to believe it. Cuz... there are no sharks in these waters. The closest things to sharks are what we call "dogfish". They're related to sharks, but they are small (like 2ft) and they don't bite, let alone eat, people. They're mainly an annoyance to fishermen that catch them when they are trying to catch Salmon.
No Man-O-War's, no Sharks, no killer giant squid that are sixty feet long. nothing of the sort.
We got clams. We got Salmon. We got Dungeoness Crab that is absolutely TO DIE FOR. But out here, we eat stuff from the sea and it doesn't eat us.
