I have your phone number handy, just in case I need it quick. I was having some strong contractions this morning at about 5 am, but they diminished after I got up for the day. Took elf-boy to school, then came home and slept until noon. I have said it before, I get my best sleep during the day. It helps that I am on modified bedrest. Come on spicy dinner! With all the peppers I had at dinner tonight, I will either have some bigtime indigestion, or a baby. We'll see.

Here's hoping and praying that it's going to be a baby! Much better than big-time indigestion. At least it will be in the long run... when you don't have to be pregnant anymore!

Have the phone handy. Was awake at 5 AM. Will prolly be tomorrow since my friend Marty should be arriving about 4 or 4:30. I'm leaving the door open for her so I don't *have* to wake up... but I suspect I will wake up anyway. We have lots of talking to catch up on!!! Haven't seen her since January!!!

She's my friend who's baby daughter is in the Marines in Afghanistan. She's having a tough time with that. Not at peace about it at all. Her son is also in the Marine reserves. We're pretty much old-fashioned moms... I think it would not be so hard on her if it had been her son who was sent to Afghanistan instead of her daughter.
