Is it 8mm tape? Digital video, or old-fashioned analog? If it's an 8mm analog tape I can play it in my camcorder and make an MPEG from it. If it's a digital tape... then I probably can't handle it.

If you find a place to transfer it to VHS, the same place will probably be able to make a copy on CD for you!

It's digital. :-(

I'm going to call a couple of places tomorrow and find out. I'm just so paranoid of them accidently erasing it! I would have to kill someone.
