Can you put the Beta in with your other fish?

Yeah - you can have one Beta in a community tank they just don't get along with each other. I usually have one. They are meat eaters, but too slow to go after other fish, they eat small blood worms or brine shrimp.

You can put one Betta in a community tank, from what I understand, just as long as you don't have "nipping" fish in the tank or fish that the Betta could mistakenly fight with, like Angelfish.

Also, I've heard that the fish tank shouldn't have strong water currents since Bettas prefer still water.
