Yep, my TV at home is used only for watching movies. I keep thinking that someday it'd be nice to get cable, since I can't really pick up any non-cable channels (I'm assuming there are too many hills around for it to work well?), but I never can quite justify the expense.

Not to mention I'm afraid I'd get hooked.

Yeah, I have more than enough ways to waste time without that one. I use to watch more tv but I got out of the habit when I was spending late nights in the lab for a year. There is nothing worth watching on at 2 am. I am sure I would still have cable if I plugged it into the wall since they have to hook that up when they turn on a cable modem. I watch more than enough anime to make up for the TV.
