Too much "toilet" humor for grown-ups and too many innuendos for kids, so it doesn't really cater to either crowd.
This is a complete train wreck of a movie!!!!!!
The Grinch as played by Jim Carrey was much closer to the written character than Mike is to The Cat, and that's saying a lot considering the liberties taken with the Grinch film!

Yeah...Jim Carrey is another I don't care for. I made it through about fifteen minutes of The Grinch before I couldn't take it any more.
I like the cartoon, though!

I avoided The Grinch film for the same reason. Man, I wish they wouldn't mess with classics like that! If they're going to do them, do it right!
