Sounds great on the garden. I used to have neighbors who didn't keep their chickens up well enough and they'd always be peckin' at stuff in my garden. Used to tick me off to no end. Their cows and goats were always gettin' in my garden too. Funny thing about those chickens though, after they ate all the fire ant poison, they didn't bother my garden no more. A 22 took care of the goats. And then, after I captured the cow in my garden and held it for a few hours keeping my neighbor at bay with my shotgun he improved his fence.
Texas law says if livestock is on your property through negligence and you capture it and keep it up for 2 weeks the stock is yours. I figured I'd got myself some steak on the hoof. Had called the authorities on the neighbor's stock enough times that they knew the conditions. The sherriff was on my side. Shotgun kept the idiot neighbor from stealing the cow back. My "then" husband made me give the livesteak back. He said I was makin' a bad neighbor. I thought I was exercisin' my rights.
Anyway, life usedta be a lot more excitin' than it is now. You'd have been entertained. :-)
What a HOOT! I would love to have seen that!
The other day when I was riding that horse at the picnic, Steve told everyone "You can just call her Calamity".
ROFLOL!!
*sniff*... that's just beautiful...
I need one of y'all to come help with muh neighbors dogs. They got a shepherd and a terrior. Nice dogs but they bark around the clock. I can't go out on MY deck without them barkin'.
And it pi$$e$ me off that this guy has actually called to complain about Sam barking.
Sam barks 1) when we leave or come home in a vehicle and 2) AT THIS GOOBER'S DOGS WHEN THEY START IT FIRST!
I hate irresponsible animal owners.
