Ugh...dead bird?

We had our gig this morning...played while people were getting seated for commencement at the college. We left before the guest speaker...probably rude, but we tried to be as inconspicuous as possible, and we'd already been told we didn't HAVE to stay.

Gig went pretty well. I got nervous toward the end and was hitting sour notes here and there. Ugh.

But that was about the easiest hundred bucks I've ever made. Half an hour of playing while no one paid attention to us. Too bad I already owe the money and only have it long enough to clear the bank.

I think one of the cats had a good day.

Yeah, if my sister could work an 8-hour day for $100/ hr she'd be sittin' pretty.

Pretty neat you can pick up extra money doing that! And at least you didn't drink the $100 away like the Blues Brothers did :) How often do you get paying gigs like that?

Oh, yeah, I was going to tell you, AMC is premiering a special version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory tonight which includes behind-the-scenes commentary and stuff. I've seen them do this with other movies, it should be pretty interesting!
