I read about this project (at least, I think it was this project) years ago in Comics Buyer's Guide. If they were on CDROM instead of microfiche, I'd go for it!

I'm hoping they get them on CD-ROM, too. I've only read a few Golden Age comics--some classic DC, Timely, and Fawcett reprints, mostly; always wished more were available. The ones I'd want to read most would probably be Superman, Batman, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. I'm also interested in some of the strips and pulps--have some reprints of Flash Gordon and I've also always been interested in Tarzan, the Shadow, and the Green Hornet, among others.
