Bakshi is attacking from the shadows!--quick, form a circle! Just make sure not to protect Frodo. . .
The Lord of the Nazgul just made a sound like Scooby-Doo saying "Shaggy!"
Leotard Legolas is about show up. . .Glorfindel really got shafted in the film adaptations of LotR, didn't he?
Scene from Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" coming up. . .
Oh, good heavens, must stop the Bakshi funkle.
Woo-hoo! Anti-funkle aid!
Frodo just woke up in Rivendell and Gandalf was about to explain to him what happened, which apparently was when the editor decided would be a good time to cut to a commercial for "Cat in the Hat". . .
BTW you've got mail.
I'm still getting enough salad makin's for salad almost every night and the arugula is wanting to bolt.
Kitty is provisioned for the week. I still want to try that "Atkins for Cats" that LSA sent me. I just need to shop for ingredients and get another mortar and pestle for the eggshells.
Cubs are up on the Orcs 2-1. . .
That actually happened to an aunt of mine when she went to help a sick relative during harvest time.
Bakshi Bilbo looks like Billy Barty from "Dr. Shrinker".
Atkins for cats? Isn't the better food mostly protein anyway?
My dogs steal eggshells if they can, or in any case gobble them if I accidentally drop one. Considering how much *I* hate getting even a little shell in my eggs, it makes me cringe listening to them eat those things if they get one. Ew...
What happened?
The moment we've all been waiting for! "I am Boromir. . ." The Miniskirted Barbarian has arrived!
My Mom puts eggshells out for birds in spring--I guess it helps them recover protein lost from laying eggs or something like that.
"The Princess Bride" is on television... some channel... dunno which...
Yeah, I know people who would feed them to their chickens...supposedly the calcium in them made the shells of the LATER batches stronger.
Heh...when we were little, Mom used to always crack eggs, then put the shells back in the carton, so we'd end up with a carton full of broken shells, which would then get thrown out. It drove Dad crazy...finally he asked her why she did it, and she said because HER Mom did that. We got around to asking Grandma at some point and she said she did it because HER Mom did it...because they would give them to the chickens.
I'm finally breaking the tradition on that, at least for not.
Watching it?
I own it. Don't get TV, though.
I think it's called Dr. Pitcairn's diet. It's a raw meat diet and you're supposed to add wheat germ and powdered eggshells to it. They're supposed to get a multivitamin too.
Um...last phrase should be "At least for now".
I'd still like to have chickens someday. Maybe.
I still haven't fulfilled my assignment to watch that--looked for it at the library, though!
