Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A sudden tree or standing stone

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 | Still round the corner there may waitA new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 | Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I'm pretty sure that the state requires that we put on our coats before we go outside, and wipes our noses, too. ohh... and makes us clean our plates before we get dessert. I am so sorry! Do you still have the freedom to tell em to stick it [delete expletives]?

hehehe... got the mail. Lovin' it. I was so confoosed! I can legally ride without a helmut here! But, I got that from my former sister-in-law up there. Hence my search on helmut laws. To make sense of the text!
Uh, did you notice that there was text with that email? :-)

This is the Soviet of Washington. Where the Seattle city council votes to openly support hate and terrorist groups, and the Olympia city council votes to refuse a visit by the USS Olympia, a submarine that bears its name. It is also home to the Evergreen State College, where Rachel Corrie is a beloved martyr.

[sigh] This place is *so* in need of a good disinfectant.

We got a lot of things.... We get a bad rap because a lot of the free expression 'round here is so deplorable... But I havent heard of a place yet that was as purdy or had better gun law. So tell me.... How can we ask for more?

This place is *so* in need of a good disinfectant.LOL I'll see what I can do next month! Good grief though, ya'll have such gorgeous territory to ride! I can't imagine being forced to wear headgear to ride there! Terrible waste! Criminal!
I even noticed that the little halfshell that I keep just to conform with most of the nearby states where I have to wear a helmut would not be legal there. Shame that. The worst of it is that you can't *hear* anything with those fuller kind of helmuts and there is no peripheral vision. Truly makes it much more dangerous to ride.

"Free Expression" on the part of government organs doesn't count.

Carry a "Bush/Cheney" sign over to Evergreen and see how free it is. I'm sure they would be "tolerant".

Carrying our flags around campus - fending off the people who ask us if we need a light! They're harmless.... and certainly not armed as well.
