Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Exactly.
On the other hand, there are SOME images and thoughts that can linger all they want... ;-)

Heh, but those images and thoughts aren't often found in horror movies.

You watching Foxnews? They're covering Guillani at the 911 hearings. He's totally lecturing them on who the really enemy is. Go Ru-dy! Ru-dy! Ru-dy!

Yeah, see, I have 6 or 7 disks and I am not that far along. as for what 'other stuff' I have.... long list, over 200 dvds at last count and a few hundred gigs of fansubs. I download fansubs faster than I can watch them because I am stockpiling for a convention.
wah! I can't keep up with all these posts! I leave off checking from leaving work and the next morning I am over 100 behind :P

'Morning!
The plants I got at the plant sale have aphids.
To: Lil'freeper
I don't have TV here OR at home. This is my news source. But...cool!

There's a live thread now. He's speaking on how the command posts were set up and how he looked up and saw the jumpers.

Hey! The day that you get there is Matthew's Homeschool Banquet at our church! We signed you up to have a lasagna dinner! You get to hang out with a bunch of homeschooling Baptists for the evening...the fun should be non-stop...

What do you have to do to get rid of them?
Only a few days until that first farmer's market...I'm probably getting so excited about it that I'll be disappointed. Oops!

Carbaryl. *Sigh* I've got so much of the stuff back home it's gonna feel weird actually buying Sevin dust.
To: Overtaxed
It's really pretty fun, actually...I've always had a good time.
But they usually work me like a dog beforehand, setting it up...I can get out of that since you're gonna be here.
ROFLOL!!!
"I got company, doncha know..."
The kids get up and show off a talent or something of the kind...oh, and the kindergarteners graduate and we usually give a monetary gift of some sort as a presentation to the graduating seniors.
I don't know what the theme is going to be this year...last year it was patriotic and we collected care package items that I sent off to the chaplain.
I'm glad you're coming. My mom and dad are never interested.

Big holes or tiny holes? Are the leaves chomped on from the edges in or are their tiny holes spotting the leaves?

Well...Sevin's good for chewing pests...except for maybe deer.
To: RosieCotton
Yeah, I've been checking in on that thread now and then, but I don't have much input, being from small family and having only a small family...
It's already been said on the thread, but large conservative families are the hope of this country, imo.
Compare that to my liberal BIL with his bicycle that costs as much as a used car...he can't be bothered with kids...he's still one himself.

Holes are appearing in the middle. Just on a couple of leaves so far - what I noticed last night anyway. My m-i-l says some type of worm.
