Colorado Springs = Air Force = Military = Forts, I would guess.
Oh, I thought they went farther south. We'll be getting them any day now.
I remember them from 87 too! I'm not *that* young. Of course, I thought they were great fun at the time...
You could start a new company, give us all jobs paying six figures and move us to a tropical climate.
...just a thought...
You're in Ft Collins? Wassupwitdat?
How far is that from Boulder?
*snif* they grow up so fast...
Yeah I was just thinkin' it was Fort Collins. Just got the name wrong.
I don't need a whole keg.
Is it low-carb beer? :)
It's so hard when they get sick ... you can't understand them, and sitting there helplessly wrings your heart. It sounds like Dona's got a soft heart ... it must wring even harder.
Oh man, sorry about the dogs.
As much as I gripe about Sam, I'd really miss him if something happened to him.
Well, she ~didn't~ put Zak down... Just had a long conversation with Dona. The vet looked at him and determined he injured his back somehow, perhaps under the stress of being alone he tried to jump the fence and he's just so old. They injected some anti-inflamatories into his back and he's home.... and getting around OK.
Not yet. Moving in August. For grad skool, cuz I haven't learned my lesson yet.
It'll be, I guess, less than an hour from Boulder. Nice country. I'm excited.
I think it might have been better if she had put them both down together... Zak is really arthritic and thin, just like Zeke was, and I think Dona is just so tired of the ongoing stress of vetting first the cat, then Zeke, and now Zak. Zak will never be well. If I had been there, I'd have advised to put him down and get it over with. They both had good long lives.
a.) I know. just thinking out loud. b.) Why would low-carb beer be a good thing? If it is anything like lowfat ice cream then somebody is clearly missing the point... :-)
Three Lugs for the court-kings under the hoop
Seven pairs of Converse on the streets of stone
Nine for the K-Swiss doomed to scuff
One for Air Jordan on his ad throne
In the land of Nike where the contracts lie
'Course now I have to go shopping fow wedding shorts.
Are you going to get the preacher to give the "Mawwaige" speech from The Princess Bride?
Good night!
Oh, man. In the larger scheme of things I do wonder if this is a good thing. I would agree that it would probably be better for them to go together.
Dona gets in fits trying to get Zak to eat, and when he won't it twists her up in knots and she think it is her fault for (of all things) not trying hard enough to find out what he will finally eat. That he just won't eat *anything* is lost.
She's hip enough to do the "Mawwaige" bit if it's important!
