Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

BTW do you remember that MST3K he was in?Ohh, yeah... was that the one where the good guy and bad guy at the end race putt-putt cars down a tunnel, pretending to fire ray-beams at each other?
Did you see the David Hasselhoff version of Nick Fury on the SF Channel?
Saw it when it debuted on FoxTV in '98! Uhm, didn't feel the need to see it again when SciFi showed it, LOL!

Oh, cool... Spider-Man just finished, now I'm watching Matrix Reloaded on an HBO channel... switched over just in time for Neo's big fight with the Agents Smith. Smiths flying everywhere!

Hmm... beacon needs a UPS?

The Reb Brown MST3K was a movie called
Space Mutiny. It had some special effects literally stolen from
Battlestar Galactica. The most memorable line was, "She's presenting like a mandrill!"
More on the illustrious career of Reb Brown at: www.rebbrown.com: the best Reb Brown Website on the Internet--apparently there is such a thing. . .
I didn't know the SciFi Channel showing of Nick Fury was a rerun, LOL! I would've thought one showing was enough!!! :)

Big fight at the Merovingian's place, coming up...
Sure, he just stopped a sword blade with his naked hand, but he's only human!

Big fight at the Merovingian's place, coming up...Ah, yes, vs. the gay French twins.
Sure, he just stopped a sword blade with his naked hand, but he's only human!
I guess the writers figured after Neo dodging bullets and Trinity walking on the walls they had to come up with something more realistic :)

I think I had once known that there was a Reb Brown
Captain America sequel, but I had suppressed the memory for the sake of my sanity.
Well, Neo flew in and saved Morpheus and The Keymaker from the booming trucks, so I think I'll smoke a cigarette and go to sleep now... (j/k!)
Good night!

I'm going to log off, too--good night, all!

After some more research, I came up with the other side of the USMC rolling billboard. Trucking companies across the country have pledged 1000 trailers to carry the images. Oooohrah.
