how did the warfare scenes in Troy compare with TTT and RotK?Very similar, actually. There were overhead views of the soldiers running that looked like they were generated by the same software as the battle scenes in TTT and ROTK.
do you remember Marvel's fantasy/SF magazine Epic?

It doesn't have a name, he just teaches you what you want to know, if it's drawing or painting. I told him my drawing needed improvement, that's all.
There is a high school kid who comes in and draws comic book art that blows my socks off, another guy doing beautiful landscapes, some ladies with still lifes, there's figure drawing etc.
Just a tiny one man school, not a university or anything. But he is good!
The guy is teaching the way it was done before 1900, as best as he, and some others around the country, can figure it out.

At this point, I'd be ready to say it's the same design. The hard chine-line along the side is the giveaway, I think. The position of the fly-bridge atop and aft of the the main bridge is another. The deck layout is also pretty much the same.
That 110' is a neat boat. There was some trouble with them in early deployment. While they are fast (~30kts) there was a problem with them that they would clutch-in and troll at about 9 knots. That's not a problem unless you're towing a sailboat that has a hull speed of 8 knots.
Early versions had extensive instructions on rigging large sea-anchors for small-boat towing ops in order to slow them down enough to tow smaller craft.
But beyond that... it's an outstanding boat. I worked with several of them in combined ops well... well... off the US coast.

I'm with 2J on the flaxseed thing...but I didn't like it as a cereal as she mentioned. I think I did it wrong, 'cause though it tasted good, it looked and had the texture of a big bowl of brown snot. Ulch...Well, I was thinking of trying flaxseed, but I think that visual cured me of that notion. . . :)

My main weakness is tortilla chips - gotta have my chips and salsa!Definitely! Although I use hot salsa to help with my sinuses, so I have somewhat of an excuse there :) But my biggest weakness is Pringles--if I start one I have to finish half the can!
