I was waiting for a chance to commit suicide during a commercial break, but they guarded their prisoner too well.

LOL!! You are so funny!

Who watches that stuff anyway? I admit to watching General Hospital for awhile, waaaaaaaaay back in the dark ages, during the Luke and Laura episodes. (I bet Luke and Laura are still going strong........but, of course, they'd have to be great grandparents by now.)

Mom used to watch As the Stomach Churns, er.. As the World Turns away back in the day.
(Early 80's)
And, of course, everyone watched Dallas..
*ugh!*
I just wanted to see cartoons at the time.
And when JR Ewing got shot, I cheered!
Served the Ted Kennedy wannabe right!
After taht, I could go on with my cartoons and have the TV to myself without fear of having to hear, "I'm really your evil twin brother!"
"But, why does that mean we can't love each other?"
All to really horrible drippy music..
