Playing Dress-Up

You don’t have to dress up, in your finest bit of cloth,
We wouldn’t care if you came by, in cast-offs from a moth,
We’re always glad to see you, no matter how you’re dressed,
Just tell us what you meant to wear, and we’ll assume the rest.

So if some day your wardrobe is going to the dogs,
Just keep in mind we do not care, what you choose as your togs,
As long as you are seemly, we won’t call the constable,
Who knows, we might just make, all clothing optional.

Okay, yeah, I'm dressed in that same outfit right now! Without the furry face! (I wonder if I can get an outfit like that for my cat. I would have to dress him while he's sleeping though.)
