So who all is riding today? Heather and her mother will be here at 9. Julie wants to trail ride today. Usually she brings her younger 2 and the three of them ride in the arena then they leave and Heather and I trail ride. But she is leaving them home today so she can trail ride. We can do that now that I have 3 horses. I'm trying to decide who is going to ride who. Both Julie and Heather are good riders. I'll probably go ahead and ride Rusty, Heather can ride Harley she rode him last week in the arena, and Julie can go on Rock.

I'm taking off around two today so that I can be home in x for church tonight. I think the tieing up helping with the saddle too because he can't associate it with just riding now.

I need to get another coat of paint or two on my desk so I can get it back set up again and have computer. But in between, I hope to get Bay ridden, maybe it should be ecurbh's turn with his saddle.

If it doesn't rain (and it's been threatening all morning) all of us are riding this afternoon.
I got Gracie a brand new jug of Red Cell last week, so she should be full of vim and vigour after a week on that stuff. It actually makes her snort! (I don't know what they put in it, the label just says vitamins and minerals, but I swear there's uppers in there or something.)
Have a new hunter course set up at the barn, all of us take turns building new jumps, and one kid's dad is quite a carpenter - built two new roll-tops, one about 1 foot tall, the other is a monster at 2 1/2 feet high AND wide. It looks very intimidating from the takeoff side, but the first time is the worst time! When Gracie is looking at a new scary fence, her ears swivel round in circles and you can feel her hindquarters sink lower and lower as she thinks about putting on the brakes. But she does always get over somehow - it usually isn't pretty, down to a trot and pop over from a near standstill.
I'll try to get some shots of the kids if it isn't raining.
