I had about 3 pages of releases that I had to sign with Okie that they were not responsible for ANY injuries or illness, that he was up to date on his immz,, neg coggins, and that he would get foot care every 6 weeks and that he could be treated by their house vet in an Er or I failed to do so.

Then I had to sign a financial agreement. You might want to really look at this one if you don't know the buyer well. If I don't pay by the tenth it goes into big time late fees and they can put a lein on the horse and I can't remove him until all charges ,including legal fees paid. The owner tells me that she has people come in and stable horses and then she never sees them again and claims and re-sells them.
