Well, they found a friendly enough place, if they're unhappy where they are, they'll be back!
Well the ferrier said he's seen a lot worse. He filed him. Still chipped areas. He didn't have them before he was shoed and while he was shoed. This just started when the shoes got loose and the nails cracked out. He said it's because it's so hot and dry here and even though his hoofs are very hard he's going to hit stuff and knock chips out. His last filing was June 24th. He's going to see how he does in six weeks. I also have to start putting 4 in 1 hoof treatment. Doesn't smell as bad but reminds me of the poxy I used to use when I was helping my dad build airplane wings when I was a kid:')
