Well, I know the competitive trail rides I have gone to the mules lunge.

I've never ground driven one. I've seen it done, and could probably do it. I'll tell her next time.

She picked up real quick on handling the lunge line. I even had her work on Reba who doesn't lunge that well to get the feel of one that won't go easy like Harely did.

She said the gelding has been broke to ride just is very green. She also says he is very laid back calm and gentle.

They are calm and gentle as a rule... Good luck to her... I just think new riders have enough on their hands without trying to learn and teach at the same time!
