Poor Rusty. Sprinkler games?
It's nice here today. Overcast and 76. Bay is still coming up and munching hay from time to time and doing well this afternoon.
I think tonight I will resume his isoxoprene and grain. I didn't want to add anything unnecessary to his belly this morning, but if I go too long without his meds, his feet will hurt. If it's not one thing, it's another!
Ijust gave him his afternoon feeding. When he finishes up, I'm going to hose him off, spray him with fly spray and put him in the back where it's shady but he can still catch the breeze. I don't know what else to do. In his run he stands in the blazing sun and it's hot, and the flies eat on him, in his stall, less flies, he's in the shade and I know it's cooler there because I moved his water in there and it's staying alot cooler there. But no breeze, and some dust even if I wet it down.
Wonder what Mack would do if he came home and found a horse in one of the back empty bedrooms:)
