My experience has been that as long as they are around "hot" hot wire, then they usually will respect even fake hot wire. I've noticed the last few days tho that the wire that is suppose to be hot out there isn't. I've just been to busy to find the problem. But that will be on the agenda tomorrow for sure. I don't think Rusty would go anywhere even if he got out, but Rocky would.

I will be sure to watch for your pictures tomorrow:).

My hotwire isn't providing much punch any more, and I think it is because the ground is too dry. Has to have good wet contact at the ground rods... need to hose it down and see if that's it.

I just took these! This is the first heat cycle I have noticed this year on the pony.... I thought she had quit having them for lack of meaningful male contact in all these years.

She gets really frustrated, and in the last pic she backed up and slammed right into him! Bless his heart, he's interested, he just has absolutely no idea what she wants.

Hope this isn't too risque of a subject matter ;~D
